Description
FDP (Fluorescein Diphosphate, Tetraammonium Salt) is one of the most sensitive alkaline phosphatase fluorescent substrates. It is widely used for the detection of tyrosine phosphatase (PTPase) activity, and plays a role in high-throughput screening of PTPase inhibitors. In addition, FDP can also be used as a chromogenic substrate to detect phosphatase activity in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Under the catalysis of alkaline phosphatase, colorless and non-fluorescent FDP is hydrolyzed to a form of green fluorescein with high intensity fluorescence.
Notes
1. The recommended storage concentration of this product is 10 mM, which is soluble in phosphate-free solutions at pH 7-8.
2. The background fluorescence of the FDP sample is mainly from fluorescein monophosphate. If this product is not used immediately, it is recommended to store it at -20°C and protect it from light after packaging.
