Description 

5(6)-CFDA (full name: 5-(and-6)-Carboxyfluorescein diacetate) is a live cell fluorescent tracer probe with membrane permeability and thus can be loaded into cells via incubation. Once inside cells, the non-fluorescent CFDA is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases to carboxyfluorescein. These fluorescent products can only accumulate in cells with integral cell-membrane and be detected by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry.

Notes 

1. There are quenching problems with fluorescent dyes. Please avoid light to slow down the fluorescence quenching.
