Store at 4°C and protect from light. Before use, warm to room temperature, mix gently and avoid air bubbles.

Description

The Antifade Medium is a unique, stable formula for preserving fluorescence. The coverslip can be sealed the edges with nail polish or sealant. The Antifade Medium is available with or without the blue fluorescent DNA dye DAPI for nuclear counterstaining.

Notes

1. It is suggested that the Antifade Medium should be used to fixed and permeable cells or tissues. 

2. Antifade Medium may increase the background of some fluorescent dyes such as YF488. We recommend reducing the amount of this product. 

3. Antifade Medium may not be compatible with all fluorescent proteins or dyes or with certain tissue sections. We recommend using Antifade Medium on a test sample to ensure compatibility with tissue sections or with uncommon fluorochromes.
